It is very important to know the warranty policy as a customer.
WARRANTY AND POLICIES
From the date of purchase, different OEMs’ comes with different warranty period and policies. Highlighted are few brands warranty periods.
Samsung: Samsung offers 2 years warranty
TECNO, INFINIX & ITEL: They offer 13 months warranty on all purchased devices.
Limited warranty coverage to consumer shall cease and no longer be available under any of the following conditions;
- Exposure to Liquid/oil intrusion, spill of foods
- Natural disaster like fire outbreak
- Electrical surge
- Physical damages more as; Broken screen, broken Phone parts etc, caused as a result of falling device or maladjustments to consumer controls or other acts which are beyond the resources/controls of the company, and defects that arises not due to normal wear and tear of the product.
- The customers did not approach the company of purchase (Pointek) or its authorized service center about an alleged defects.
- Accessories are not covered; chargers, earphone, removable battery, data cable, OTG Cable (if any)
- Third party software not authorized by the OEM Service centers
